I just received notification about robberies in Mililani. There is a
bunch of people working together. They stalk your house and mark it with an ‘X’ on your mailbox indicating that your house is ready to rob providing that they have watched your daily activities. They have hit my co workers friends’ house near Safeway and stole electronic equipment. They are very organized as there is someone watching about a block or two away for the cops.
Also, my co worker did say that his other friend removed masking tape with an ‘x’ from the mailbox and the next day it was written in white chalk. They seem to be of Micronesian race. There are women also working in this group. They said it’s weird because some of them are walking up and down streets with babies in strollers to stalk people’s houses. The reason why the Mililani community feels it’s unusual is that these cars and people are not from the area.

I just got off the phone w/one of the plain clothes Officer who works in
Mililani, he said that there is a rash of Burglaries going on in Mililani town including Mauka. Let your friends know to be on the lookout for the following:
1- Black Toyota truck lifted with big tires.. Small white sticker in the back window.
2- White Nissan pick up truck lowered. Older style.
The truck appeared to be hand painted-not a nice factory finish
paint job..
According to the Officer, these guys have hit numerous homes targeting
“Flat screen TV’s”.. They will do anything to get into the home even
smashing glass sliding doors, breaking windows, etc…
They have a large network of people and are in constant communication
with each other. The Officer mentioned that they would even post
lookouts throughout the neighborhood to warn each other if someone was
coming…
Use common sense: If you see a vehicle or person that is suspicious,
write down the vehicle license plate and make note of that person. Call
911 and report… If you can, take a pic. of the person or vehicle
un-noticed, then do so.. But be safe…
Again use common sense when dealing with these people. DO NOT APPROACH THEM AND CONSIDER ALL SUSPECT ARMED AND DANGEROUS..
Okay, let all your friends know about these guys so we can atch’em….Aloha

Feedback from others:
All,
These guys broke into four houses on my street over the last two weeks.
Cops almost caught them but their network of watchers managed to contact them before the cops got to the houses they were breaking into. So if you see Kids or people sitting in their cars that you have never seen on
your street before then take note of them and get a license plate number if
they are driving by. One of the tactics they use is to knock on your front door and ask for someone you don’t know (this is their way of finding out if someone is at home). If you are alone don’t let them know, say that others are in the house. We were told by one of the police officers that they like to strike between 2:00 – 4:00 PM in the afternoon because they know that most people (retired and working) leave the house for 2 hours to run errands to pickup kids from school and do some shopping for dinner. Bottom line is be watchful of your surroundings.
All,
For your info this is the type of truck that the police are looking for.
Also a year ago they did shatter my sliding glass door leading to my
patio to get into my house but the dog stopped them and the neighbor came over to see what was going on. I suggest you not approach them, since we are not sure how big their group really is.

Last night, we were heading to town and at the intersection where Tony
Honda and Costco are, Mark saw the Toyota truck described below. As it passed us (heading towards Waipio Zippy’s) the buss (busted) up white Nissan truck
(extended cab) was right behind the black Toyota.
