My daily commute is from Lower Mauka to Town, about 40 miles total. I’ve been averaging 150+ mpg to the H1/H2 merge…it’s because of the downhill drive. But by the time I get to Town, my mpg is usually down to 90-95. The return commute is a bummer; traffic is heavier and the H2 climb is a gas guzzler. Pulling into our driveway, my mpg readout is about 65. For the past 7689 miles, I’ve averaged 61.1 mpg, filling-up every other week, rarely more than 9 gallons.

Looks like you drive a Civic, right?
Yes, a 2006. Absolutely no regrets.
